You cunts are weird since you don't have Thanksgiving merely 3 weeks before so its a one off event and not 3 weeks of responsibilities a bit too close to each other.
I like Christmas but the holidays in general can combined end up being a bit much. THis year was lovely though and my 18 day ski holiday fell conveniently inbetween both and there was no need to work/travel for work close to the holidays to complicate shit I was ready to fly home on the 23rd. Some years things fall a bit differently and I can't make it home for both which can be depressing.
And what gank said.

Swarms of people, ostensibly grown up & educated enough to see that ALL organised religion is crap and the bible a collection of fairy stories for the terminally thick, openly celebrating one of the core aspects of those very same fairy stories.
Hypocritical at best, but definitely moronically sheepish.
Why is "family" more important at Christmas over every other day of the year? What's so important about this "tokenism" of giving gifts on what is basically an arbitrary selected day over any other?
What's more? Who the fuck is so weak that they need an excuse to go and get rart-arsed on that particular day?
Grow some balls and choose your own fucking celebration days instead of some cunt telling you what you "should" be doing, and when.
